Creative Missions | 01

Here I am real quick. It’s Sunday morning and we leave in 20 minutes to go get some footage (video + photo) of our churches. I had every intention of getting up early, going down to the lobby and working on a couple things, this diary entry being one of them. Thankfully, I didn’t get to spend any time doing it until now because of good conversation with a couple of the guys I ran into while getting breakfast downstairs in the hotel. But I guess that’s what it’s all about right now… building relationships with these other people I’m serving with this week, so I’m happy plans didn’t go my way.

Yesterday was exhausting. I traveled for 15 hours to get to Rhode Island. Then we went as a group to see Endgame in a drive-in theater. We got to hangout before the movie started and get to know one another a bit, which was great. It was definitely hard sitting through that movie after already seeing it and being so tired. Still a great movie none the less.

We spent a little bit of time last night on our way home talking about our strategy for today and are now about to go execute Day 2.

Praying that God uses us well today and that we don’t let the unfamiliarity of these churches and the area hinder us from getting the photos and videos we need to do a good job.

I’ll be getting dropped off at a church and getting footage by myself, which isn’t a strength, but I’ll happily give it a shot.

Hopefully my next entries will be more thought out and not rushed, but until then…
